1. Courses |

| 1.1 |
Multicultural Academy Canada (in short "MAC") reserves the right to alter course arrangements without prior notice to students or otherwise. Any amounts in dollars expressed on this website and in these conditions are in dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change. |

2. Fee payment |

| 2.1 |
You must pay all fees in full in advance for the study period you request on this registration form, unless otherwise arranged. |

3. Cancellations , Refunds, and Code of Practice |
|

| 3.1 |
You must notify the school of your cancellation in writing. You must return your original “course registration certificate “and Receipt and any other material we request, before we refund your fees. |
|
| 3.2 |
Refund of course fees
Courses over 3 months in length (13 weeks or more):
o Students are entitled to a full refund of course fees less 10% of course fees or $500 whichever is the lesser when a course is cancelled by the student within 8 days of the course start date, or before the course start date.
o After 8 days from the start of a course, any fees refund will be at the sole discretion of the MAC management.
o We may not refund fees or give a free extension if a student:
o Leaves school before a course is finished (excluding first 8 days)
o Arrives late for a course without written notice to MAC .
o Takes time off during the intended course period.
o Should we cancel a course or part thereof, a students unused fees will be refunded in full.
o If a student studying on a Study Permit withdraws or cancels a course we will notify Immigration Authorities.
o All refunds are made in dollars.
o No refund will be made for courses less than three months duration if the student cancels after the course start date.
o The student is made aware of the refund policy in the conditions of enrolment form which must be signed by the student or the parents of students under 18 years old.
Early withdrawal and refund requirement
Courses less than 3 months in length:
Where a foreign student enrolled at a MAC on a course of study or training, that is less that three months' duration, withdraws from such a course, the following minimum refund entitlement will apply:
a) For courses of up to and including four weeks and six days:
i) where a foreign student withdraws within the first two days of the course for which attendance of students at the MAC is required, the MAC may retain up to 50% of the full amount of any payments made by the student to the MAC in respect of the course; and must refund the balance to the student; unless
ii) two days constitutes the full amount of tuition paid for by the student, in which case the provider may retain 100% of the payment made in respect of the course.
b) For courses of five weeks or more but less than three months:
i) where a foreign student withdraws within the first five days of the course for which attendance of students at the MAC is required, the MAC may retain up to 25% of the full amount of any payments made by the student to the MAC in respect of the course; and must refund the balance to the student.

| 3.3 |
After 7 days from the start of your course, no fees except the the accommodation weekly charge(if paid), will be refunded. |
|
| 3.4 |
We do not give part-time study in place of pre-paid full time study. |
|
| 3.5 |
We will not refund fees or give you a free extension if you:

IMMIGRATION: "Full details of visa and permit requirements, advice on rights to employment in Canadian while studying, and reporting requirements are available through the Canadian Immigration Authorities, and can be viewed on their website at http://www.cic.gc.ca"
MEDICAL AND TRAVEL INSURANCE: International students must have appropriate and current medical and travel insurance while studying in Canada, according to Quebec Law.

4. Course Attendance |

| 4.1 |
You are expected to attend all lessons, and must comply with the conditions of your VISA or permit to stay in Canada. |
|

5. Accommodation |
|
 |

| 5.1 |
Accommodation is available on the dates specified in your confirmation of registration certificate. |
|
| 5.2 |
Any request to cancel or change accommodation must be made to Multicultural Academy Canada 21 days prior to the date of the proposed move. |
|
| 5.3 |
We will refund the accommodation weekly charges if you find other accommodation. Both your host family and Multicultural Academy Canada must receive 21 day's notice of your intention to leave. |
|
| 5.4 |
If you leave your for a short time (1 to 21 days) during your course you must still pay the accommmodation charge, unless a retainer of $60 is being paid to hold the place. |

| 5.5 |
You must be ready to leave your accommodation when you finish your studies at Multicultural Academy Canada unless otherwise arranged. |
|
| 5.6 |
In arranging accommodation, Multicultural Academy Canada acts only as an agent and makes payment for it only in this capacity. |

6. Liability |

| 6.1 |
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate medical and travel insurance. |
|
| 6.2 |
The school cannot be held responsible for any sickness, injury, damage or loss incurred within the school or on school activities or tours. |
|
| 6.3 |
Multicultural Academy Canada shall not be liable if the services we state we offer cannot be provided for reasons beyond the school's control. |

7. Privacy policy |

| 7.1 |
Information provided by you may be made available to relevant government departments if there are certain changes to a student's enrolment and any breach of a student visa condition relating to attendance or satisfactory academic performance. |
